Apache Felix is the successor (or evolution) of Objectweb OSCAR.
It supports the OSGi R4 specification where OSCAR is bound to R3.
It provides a new OBR implementation (OBR 2) that is much more tooled than the old one (see bindex for auto generating the repository.xml file).
And Felix is supported where Oscar is not !
